Walking for Peace
How far would you walk for peace on earth? To the corner of your block? To the nearest liquor store? To the nearest grocery store? To the downtown of your town or city? To your states capitol? To Washington D.C.?
The novice historian will say, “Peace is the absence of War”. The honest historian will declare, “Peace is only possible when one warring participant is totally, even brutally* defeated”. Your dreams of utopia need to be shelved for a time.

WAKE UP YE MEN OF VALOR!
Your NATION needs you now.
Be not dismayed at those who dream;
Yet never wake to do.

Yet never wake to do.

How about we stop promoting wars for peace?
OK, when you can give me one or two real world examples of peace coming without war.
Peace with Japan, yes we have it.
Peace with Germany, yes we have it.
Peace with the British Empire, Yes we have it.
Peace with Mexico?
historical? i think not. hysterical? definitely
I n the history of the world have we ever achieved peace that way? BY your theory the only way for us to have peace would be to brutally conquer and defeat every country possible.
You remind me of that saying Bombing for peace is like screwing for virginity.
