More serious comedy

It is a shame that our brave troops have to hear from blowhards like Carry.

Almost funny, definitely sad.

The young men and women fighting for us have to make banners to get our attention. I have seen this photo at least 10 times in my web surfing today, and every time I see it, I wonder why these soldiers have to say what the freest press in the world, won't?

Has hollywood, madison avenue or the new york times said, shown or printed something nice about America lately?

I would have to say, NO.

Almost funny, definitely sad.

Looks like somebody could have used a bit more education.

Whoa! Can't we try to get along? What is it about election time in America that brings out hatred?

No UM you are not wrong. Politics American style is an ugly affair. No one likes the negative ads that we are bombarded with for 3 months, on tv, radio, newspapers and even yard signs.

Political jobs are moneymakers. Without exception all our Senators are millionaires. Almost all of our Representatives are millionaires. The ones that are not, will soon be millionaires.

I am sick of polotics, but have to vote. I think part of the reason those running for office use such negative ads, is to discourage the educated voters. With poor turnout, the votes that are bogus, illegal and duplicate are a bigger factor in the outcome.

Did you hear what I just said.

Negative ads make people stay away from the voting booths, and that makes every fraudulent, vote more powerful.

We must get to a place where only those with embedded USofAfedchips can vote, with paper ballots and a pencil.

Dee,
What a pleasant surprize here at the bluff. Hugs and handshakes all around....thanks for dropping by, and just between me and you, I hope you beat my blog in the battle of blogs. And young lady I can't help but notice you are up awful late. Hopefully everything is going your way...well at least 99% of the time.

We all have setbacks and such. Am looking forward to more pleasant conversation young lady....no strings attached.

I must go back and reread our pleasant conversations of long ago.

Isn't that what is more important than the upcoming elections? Pleasant conversation?

This is the ugliest time in America, the time when millionaires spend tens of millions on advertisements, to try to prove to everyone that the other guy/gal is not worthy of the office. Switch the channel and there is the other candidate telling the world how the other guy/gal is not worthy of a dogcatchers job in public service.

Whoooa, I long for a world that all people talk it out, smile, reach out and HUG.

Another dream dreamed by a dreamy dreamer.

So very nice to hear from you again, rekindled friends....ahhh that's the word, friends.
