I find it easy to read, even with my age weakened eyesight.

Looks good to me. I always use a large font for the over 50 crowd.
I like it.. could be the next smaller size.
Yes, I am over 50.
I personally am fond of verdana, but that's just me :)
Thanks for all of your comments. I would use a slightly smaller font size in the future.
It's definitely easier to read. Maybe a little bold--perhaps like Phred said, just one point size smaller.
I suppose the grey background helps. I agree with utenzi. ;)

Thanks Stephanie and James, I have decided to take all of this into consideration.
For most articles I am going to use one of the sans serif fonts you suggested, verdana, and use the calligraphic45 font at special time.
