Time changes boulders into soft sand.....really soft, unabrasive sand....that actually feels good between the toes.
The sands of time.....!
A sea washed land like yours produces mellow people.
That is why we are so different....for I'm not mellow.
There are no seas, seacoasts, or oceans anywhere near Kansas.
Tornado's, Hurricanes, Wind, and Earthquakes, are the things you can be sure of in Kansas.
As to the people?
In Kansas you will find sniveling, crying and babies too. If you compare us to the rest of the world.....we are so young here, and we really do love our history, and have a plan for tomorrow.
We (Kansans) like the world, it just that we are waiting for a chance to contribute.
Kansas, and America: we are soooooo young, yet, there are enough good people from every walk of life, Yes, even congregated in Kansas.....we want to do something nice for the world.....Us Kansans, want to repay our forefathers and foremothers, whether they hailed from France, Greece, Italy, Spain, England, Scotland or Chad. We want all of you to enjoy freedom like we have in America, that we have only because we fought for it. There is no one living in Kansas who doesn't know of a relative or friend who gave up their life FOR FREEDOM. People that don't understand this.... don't deserve the freedom they have.
America is a young nation, but if we are hatred unto war....watch out enemies of America...for in the end, AMERICA WILL WIN.....
If the battle leaves only one nation living.
AMERICA WILL BE THE LAST PLACE WHERE HUMANS CAN LIVE,UPON THIS SIN CURSED PLANET.
Young as America is, it still has found the answer to living together, and we fight for America harder than France fights for France...and actually there would be no France today, if America had not have fought for those ungrateful frogs.

I still don't understand why you had to post all this on my blog and to be honest I am a bit annoyed. I didn't say anything about America .. I just said that I miss my country. And the culture comment I made was to teach my friend Scruffy. So I really dont get why you felt the need to post a whole page as a comment on my blog. I'm not allowed to miss the country that I was born and lived my whole life?
If I hated America I wouldn't live here... and nobody forced me to.. I CHOSE to !!
GG, I am sorry if I annoyed you, or offended you in a way I never intended. Please feel free to delete the comment. I have a bad habit of commenting but not really talking directly. Sort of rambling and preaching, forgive me if this is annoying to you, it was not intended to be. Nothing I have read of yours leads me to think you are in any way UnAmeican. I also tend to stray from the subject at hand. I'll have my mind jogged by something someone says and off to the races go my fingers over the keyboard. And geez, I tried to point out that Ameica is Young...as in still learning, and if we can't learn from others, (as Americans) we will live shallow lives. With all that said, It is frustrating to see world hatred for us and the good we do, and I really think freeing people from tyranny is a good thing. We could have chosen to build a wall around us and protect only ourselves, the world be damned, but we didn't.
I'm not like the one singing "nobody loves me , everybody hates me, goin' to the garden to eat worms", I just wish the sacrifice our young men and women are making was not taken so lightly....and here too...gg, this is not about you.....it is just that something you said got me to thinking. I should have been more careful in telling you, I was just rambling. I'll confine my ramblings to Sanity's Bluff in the future. (yeah, like you can teach an old dog new tricks)

I cannot edit comments I leave at other blogs, so I don't get upset if someone deletes them. After reconsidering the comments I left, I realized I am very poor at placing my thoughts into the proper tense. I quickly left my opening statement which was probably all I should have shared, for it was the only part directed to you, I left there and started talking about personal observations. Sand between the toes, hmmm, not the abrasive sand of Kansas...but of Greece, I said that in a complimentary way. Perhaps some Americans are a little envious of the long storied histories of other countries, OK, not maybe, I know I am. I am only human. As to my longwinded writings...Practice makes perfect. The practice is sometimes quite ugly....but game time may not be.
I wonder if I had grown up on a beautiful island with thousands of years of history, would I be like the one who grew up in Kansas?

Apology accepted and I DO know that you meant no offence that's why I did not delete the comment (I rarely do) and that's why I told you how I felt.
To be honest I believe America has many flaws but I believe that for every country in the world.. no country is perfect. I voice my opinions on things I dont like about America AND Greece and I think this is the only way for countries to improve.. by people voicing their opinions. Yes America is a new country and still has a lot to learn.. but if it does... there's great potential :)
