Run Dr. Rice...Run
This woman looks mad, out of control, evil and probably a woman you would not want to have dinner with. There is no way you could ever be convinced to vote for this woman if she was running for mayor in your town. Heck you certainly wouldn't let this woman babysit your children while you went to the movies.

BUT..... WHAT IF THE PHOTO YOU SAW IN THE (NATION'S NEWSPAPER, USA TODAY) PAPER HAD BEEN ALTERED??????

I AM SURE A LOT OF PEOPLE WOKE UP TO SEE THIS PHOTO AND LAUGHED, AND SAID......ALL RIGHT......GOT HER NOW......????

UPPITY WOMAN-AFRICAN-AMERICAN-PRESIDENTIAL-WANNABE-AND A FRIEND OF THE DEVIL. that would be our President in some people's mind

LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL PHOTO MY FRIEND

This picture is beautiful. In it I see a woman I would shut up for, and listen to the piano concerto she was sharing. You won't hear her piano playing on NPR, but I can hear it in my mind. This is America at it's finest. I would love to sit in audience with this learned woman. And if she would only hear her country's call. Dr. Rice, please run, how about this......?? You and Elizabeth Dole run for the presidency, either way....RICE/DOLE...OR.....DOLE RICE.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FINE LADY, A TRIBUTE TO AMERICA. WE LOVE YOU DR. RICE, AND SEN. DOLE.

I can't believe how everyone is losing their mind over a photo edited pic. Half of Bush's photo ops are staged or set up, or he ads people in the background. Heck, I LOVE photo editing pics, especially to make them funny :)

You obviously are not sensitive to African-American Strong Women and Media Harassment. Your comment leads me to think you are scared of Dr. Rice. Little too smart for you?
If you can't see the character assasination going on in the media of anyone other than liberals, you are blind.
Photoshoped photos are for the internet, in blogs, not on the front page of a national newspaper, without notice to the public that they have doctored the photo.
I see a huge libel suit coming, and I hope Dr. Rice sues the pants off of USA Today.
The liberal's unprecedented hatred for good, decent people will usher another Republican into the White House, and I hope it is Dr. Rice. Americans have always been a fair people, and this was dirty, downright evil behaviour.
Every political picture is staged.
In fact what photo is not staged.
Your argument shows your inner self quite clearly.

Did I miss something? All of the pictures look the same to me. Please let me in on what is going on!
BTW I hate to admit that I am this sexist, but even as a dedicated democrat and social liberal, I would vote for a Dole/Rice Ticket (Though I would live to see another Clinton in office!!!)

OH! I just googled the edit! I wouldn't have noticed on my own, but wow! I would definitly agree that it was an attempt at demonizing the public figure.

It is interesting that whitening her eyes and touching up her make up is demonizing. What?! She has the same set "don't mess with me" look on her face in all the photograhps you've posted.
Just a little paranoid are we? As with a lot of things we see what we want to see.
Now it does though raise the isssue of to what degree is photo retouching ethical for Newspapers and news agencies. But you are simply out of your mind if you think this retouch job has anything ideology to it besides America's obsession with appearance.

Altered photos of conservatives is a liberal blog staple (about on the level of drawing mustaches on photos of people you don't like). I would have thought the press was above it. I know some photo editing in the name of clarity is standard but it makes more since to clarify the how face. This is a hack job.

I got to meet Sen. Dole when she came to Mass. recently, and she would be an AWESOME VP.

Sec. Rice is a strong, intelligent woman - no wonder everybody is afraid of her.

Zaphod - go to Instapundit and see the 'Sambo' photos that a black liberal posted of a black GOP candidate, and tell me how 'funny' that is.

Peter,
right on,
I have been saving all of the propaganda, and just right down hate speech, hate art, and hate hate, that the elitists are spewing out about this fine woman, Dr. Rice.
I am not interested in what the ex-klansman, Robert (the Porkmeister)Byrd is saying about Dr. Rice, they are yesterday, Dr. Rice is today, and tomorrow.
And Elizabeth Dole, is a fine Southern Woman first, Senator second, and would be an excellant President or Vice-President.
It is amusing, the Democrats in 2008 will be picking the least offensive of their potential candidates, to run.
And the Republicans will be looking for the best from the best.
I can't wait for 2008, the demoncrats are gonna get the spankin' they have been asking for.

Never mind that she basically commited treason in her involvment in lying about WMD's leading to a pointless war costing the lives of thousands.

Patriotism has no place in the new rightwing order these days. It's all about appearance. Smoke and mirrors.

Yeah, this "learned" lady you refer to will forever be remembered for her involvement in ignoring the memo ("Bin Laden Determined to Strike In United States") that could have saved thousands of lives.

Bravo, Condoleezza Rice! Hell, after this moron we have in office, she would be the rightful successsor.

Aww, you poor, persecuted conservatives. What a crying shame. I mean, seriously, the Republicans only own, what, every tier of government.

Here's what Bill Kristol has to say about your "liberal media":

"I admit it. The liberal media were never that powerful, and the whole thing was often used as an excuse by conservatives for conservative failures."

And your buddy Rush Limbaugh:

"There's been a massive change in media in this country over the last fifteen years. Now it's 2002 and the traditional liberal media monopoly doesn't exist anymore."

Give me a break, idiot. You know nothing. Why do you even bother?

Brad, I don't come to your blog and call you an idiot. Please remember that in the future when you comment here. I do call certain politicians names, when they deserve it, but when I comment at another persons blog, I try to argue politely.
Of course you can comment here and you can call anyone else whatever you want..(I won't tolerate gratuitous foul language)...But don't call me names. I put the work in here, and I don't need namecalling. Why is it when some people have no real rebuttal to something, they immediately resort to namecalling?
