This should be simple

Good question! I hope that many on the left see this question. Of course, they will probably change the subject by saying something like, "At least Dean doesn't lie." (for best effect, repeat this quote in falsetto voice.)

I'll admit that Bush generally tries to tell the truth. Sometimes he even gets close to the mark. Most of the time, though, he's rather confusing. Or confused. Take your pick.

I'd say he's closer to the mark when he flipped everyone the bird or told Dick Cheney that Adam Clymer was a major league asshole, both times assuming he wasn't on record.

Dubya's got some serious aggression issues, and his handlers can only handle so much. That's his true soul, and it's not pretty. I'd like to hear his private conversations. I'd guess they're rather Nixonian. And if he ever hits the bottle hard again, Nixon's corpse would blush.

Dean needs a handler or two, no question, but at least he's a breath of fresh air. And he's at least partially right about the Republican party being a bastion of white male fundamentalists. GOP strategy is built around this demographic, after all.

And the GOP is disingenuous about trotting out singular individuals as examples of inclusion. Yes, there are non-white Republicans, gay Republicans, agnostic Republicans, etc.

But there's also a big cloud of cognitive dissonance that follows them around, and it's not simply an optics issue. I can almost buy ethnic Republicans, but given the extent that the GOP plays the God, guns and gays card, being a gay or agnostic Republican does require a hell of a suspension of disbelief.

lady mary, the word lie was not in my blog.......read the question again. GW is a gentleman, and has never stooped to the lows of Dean and company.......open your eyes, and ears. We have a gentleman in the white house.....one who has never said a hateful thing....not even to those that hate him, and lie about him.

Michael, I do think we have had an example of the private conversations of George. You may recall that a few months ago, one of his friends came forward with some tapes. They were boringly just like Him.

One more question Michael. If you had to face the onslaught of Michael Moore, almost all of Hollywood, a lot of vocalists, Ted Kennedy and R. Byrd, all saying you were dumb, stupid, a drunk, a wimp, a deserter, a coward,

You get the idea. If I had to face 1/100000000th of the trash that this good man has had to face, I would be in jail awaiting execution for mass murder....I would start with CBS

Ahhhh, that is the question....
Quote them LM

I don't think there is enough bandwidth available to me to start quoting the hateful things Howard Dean has said in the last month about Our PRESIDENT....

Blogger web_loafer said...

Speech after speech during he campaign of 2004 have been recorded, transcribed and available for you to search through. Our president does not gutter speak, like T.Kennedy, and company. He is a man, and is not handled..........he handles.......this country....quite well, thank you.

I cannot let this slip by unanswered....
your quote
Bush got re-elected...to face his demons...don't you know that...? We ALL have to face our demons...he will have to in PUBLIC though...I do feel bad for the man...I think he does his best...but it is shoddy.

What would America be today if Kerry had won?

More importantly, what would the women in Afganistan be doing today?
Going to school, working, driving cars....NO
What would the citizens of Iraq be doing today if Kerry had won?
They would have been cowaring in the ghettos, hoping Sadamm or his perverted sons would not find them and especially their daughters.

Kerry would still be at the UN, debating.

America was not born because of debate.....it took guns.......and real soldiers....that fought for freedom, not for medals.

Actually when Dean said republicans never worked he either lied or was making a moronic generalization. As a very hard working Republican I resent his statement.

I have a better set of questions.

How many wars has Bush started based upon lies to the American public?

How many wars has Dean started based upon lies to the American public?

Now the big question....which is more important...the deaths of over 1700 troops, or the hurt widdle feelings of Republicans who have suddenly become obsessed with being PC?

First Jay, Dean was not president when our country was attacked. Attacked as in 3,000 plus killed. And just what was Bush supposed to do? Call for a conference with Bin Laden and his financiers? ala Hussein?
Now a question?
Should be even bother to fight the terrorist?
Oh I see, it would have been better if loudmouth was president?
You can scream a little and the boogie man will go away.
Jay you are old enough to know,no peace has come about by talking or screaming.
I want America to be around for my grandchildren.
I actually believe the terrorist when they say they want to kill all infidels....I am an infidel....I am not worried about me, just those that come after me.
Ignoring terrorism never worked either....it grows daily.

I consider saying that anyone who disagrees with your policies "hates America" to be hateful speech.

Connecting a horror to a lie does nothing to help your argument.

As has been proven into the ground now, Saddam and bin Laden had no ties, and Iraq had no role in September 11. Even your Great Leader has said as much.

Why are you not as outraged about the 1,700 Americans killed by your leader?

Thank God for Dean. Already Dems are jumping ship and looking at voting republican no matter who runs. I love it, the dmc is its own worse enemy.

Yeah some concern over the deaths in Iraq and Afganistan. You and your liberal friends in the media use their influence to make America look bad, and inflame the people who we are trying to help. You are unpatriotic at the least and sedidous without doubt. I suggest you move to some country that you can love. I love America and salute my comrades in arms, I don't stab them in the back every chance I get..........and what an asinine statement

Why are you not as outraged about the 1,700 Americans killed by your leader?

You are not my friend or my country's friend with talk like that. President Bush didn't kill 1,700. OK, lets say he did for the sake of your ridiculous statement. That means FD Roosevelt killed almost 100,000 in WWII, and Kennedy and Johnson Killed 60,000 in Vietnam.........see how that works? NO you probably gave up all rational thought long ago.

I love America, and the enemies of America are my enemies. I will not rest till they are all dead. If you lift a finger to help them you are my enemy.
