How many bloggers does it take to change a lightbulb??????

One... to change the light bulb and to post the fact that the light bulb has been changed
14...... to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7....... to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
27..... to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
41..... to correct spelling/grammar flames
6....... to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb"
Another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive
2...... industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
27.... to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
12.... to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4...... to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ
44.... to ask what is a "FAQ"?
2...... to post reasons why the light bulb burning out is the result of a government conspiracy.
4...... to say "didn't we cover this a few months ago?"
23......to claim that the Democrats are behind the burning out of the bulb.
17......to tell us that it was more diffucult to change because Tom DeLay stole the ladder.
13......to swear and say"NO"it was Karl Rove that stole the ladder.
2........bloggers who cut and paste the blog article to their own blog.
43.... to say "do a Google search on light bulbs"
5...... to say "thank you"
1...... lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again

If it's war.....let's win

I am sharing a few pictures from long ago. World War I, in fact. When America finally got involved in that war, we fought like we wanted to win.
Big Business sacrificed to win the war, soldiers sacrificed to win the war (some even losing their life), families sacrificed to win the war…..AND THE MEDIA HELPED THE WAR EFFORT INSTEAD OF WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY.
Shame shame Big media, you are hurting our nations war effort. I have heard that Al Jeezera is hiring…..

I collect old advertisements and thought these would interest some of you. Click on the pictures to enlarge them if you can't read the text.
Ramblings...
When you realize that the Liberals of 2005 are using the same playbook they have used for over forty years, you can see the disconnect between them and reality. The libs and most of the Democratic Party are stuck on stupid.

I love that description of liberals….stuck on stupid.
Stuck on Stupid, yep that pretty much says it.

They use the same playbook over and over, until even a senior in one of the government schools, could see that the Democrats are mostly complainers, obstructionists and gripers. and have NO solutions……They know that no senior citizen has ever had to eat dog food to stay alive; and they know the evil conservatives have not poisoned all of the water, and made the air unbreathable. They know no school child goes hungry at school. In fact, you could show them the expenditures of the Federal Government of the last fifty years and they could understand that there has never been a cut of any government program, ever, year to year, with the exception of the defense budget. (Thank You WJC) They know that John the Conservative down the street, doesn’t hate anyone.

No DemLib I know of has come up with a plan to confront Terrorism, and win. They have never suggested how to address our nation’s energy crisis. They can’t even recognize a good judge. Robert’s or Ginsberg? Who would I rather adjudicate for me??????

The liberal think tanks (now there’s a classic oxeye moron) don’t think about solving our nations problems, they are only thinking…….”How Can We Get Bush”

Yes, they have no solutions but will be glad to point out the problems with America, and like little children….we can see them saying….…na na nay na nay nay….”the evil conservatives did this.”

shifting gears again.........

Iraq is Vietnam in their minds. No amount of truth or logic will bring them into the 21st century. Reality says that the Iraq War is a war that would have had to be fought by someone, at sometime. We all know that Europe would never have tackled such a big job, the job of clearing out Saddam, liberating millions and killing the leaders of terrorism.

Europe is too emasculated to fight for anything.

If the USofA had not tackled this problem it would have grown so huge, that in time, Europe and the libs would be shouting for something to be done, and blaming the USofA for not doing anything.

They also still believe, all conservatives are racist, (did you happen to see who rushed to help the citizens of New Orleans?????????? It sure wasn't MoveOn.org.....Rainbow Coalition or any liberal organization....it was the hated church goers who dropped everything they were doing to go to the aid of people in harms way.

I am so proud of the Christian community, conservatives, and the citizens of Texas and Mississippi. The Bible belt showed the world a compassion that the elitist in Boston don't have, or even want. They are stuck on stupid.

I am not proud of Louisiana, but the helpless victims in Louisiana needed help.....
They were helpless because of 60 years of liberalism/racism......those words go together.....the liberals showed their incompetence and racism.) And that Iraq is another Vietnam.

Whoops I got sidetracked from my point……

Oh, back to Iraq being compared to Vietnam, and conservatives being labeled as racists....

hogwash....

Another beautiful saying….Hogwash…The liberals would point out that the hog stinks and needs a bath, but the Conservatives would do something about it.

Iraq is not a Vietnam, and won't become one, and the most of the racists in the USofA, live in those Northeastern States of ours. I’m not saying that is where all racists live, just most of them. They sit in splendor, decadency and luxury, in villas on Martha’s Vineyard, and between sips of expensive wines, call the truck drivers, nurses, doctors, firemen, policemen and carpenters of the Bible Belt Racists????? Those same ones who rushed to help the citizens of our Great Gulf Coast. These conservatives saw fellow human beings in need, and responded.

They did not hesitate and demand to know the skincolor of the needy person, they just did what they do so well……they tackled the problem. The race of the hurting Americans never entered their minds as they went to the ATM and withdrew hundreds of dollars, to pay for the gas for the journey, so that they could take a little comfort to the hurting.

There is the difference, and it was on display to the whole world.
Baptist, Methodist, Holy Rollers, and Catholics, got in buses, trucks and personal cars and rushed to help fellow citizens, while the liberals, let buses sit in rising water, complained about GW, and lied about the ones they left stranded in a drowning city.

Look, reality check….New Orleans in 2005 before Katrina, had a 67% black population.
Almost 300,000 black skinned humans from New Orleans got in their cars and left the city before Katrina struck. They have been embraced by fellow Americans that want to help, knowing that they don’t have much more than what they packed into their cars. Those people are spread out over this great country, and I am sure they know they are loved. They are not Stuck on Stupid……Praise God.

BUT

What happened to the 40,000 who had no way of escaping, (remember those hundreds and hundreds of buses left unused and flooded out)?
You and I both know that the mayor of New Orleans, and the Governor of Louisiana, left them in a frightful situation, did nothing to help them….and then with the help of a willing Media called them rapists, looters, murderers, and worse. That big lie…….was spread throughout the world, and George W. Bush was blamed.

Reality is that these people that were so defamed, had no way to leave, and were used for political purposes by an incompetent mayor and a money grabbing governor.
The truths of Katrina cannot be hidden; we have pictures, first hand accounts and videos and the web. You libs will not get away with this one, it is as transparent as the forgery of documents by Dan Rather in the 2004 election campaign.

We also will never hear about the millions, perhaps even BILLIONS of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hours of help the Bible Belt Citizens gave WITHOUT HESITATION to the hurting citizens of our blessed nation. AND NO ONE EXPECTED TO BE NOTICED, THEY JUST DID THE RIGHT THING……THEY KNEW SOME AMERICANS WERE HURTING.
If you have read any history at all, this won’t surprise you: Americans helping.

Look, I am only an old truck driver, but reality is this……if I had been in the place where the Mayor and Governor of Louisiana abandoned 40,000 human beings…….If I could somehow have been there, in the Superdome or Convention Center:

I would have tried to help, as I am sure hundreds of the left behind tried, but the mayor ordered that the way out of the city, had to be blocked for the poor, disabled, hurt, deranged, and even stupid people. HIS ORDERS WERE GIVEN FROM THE SAFETY OF HIS Powerful job. YES, HE COULD SIT IN COMFORT WHILE HUNDREDS SUFFERED, paying the price so that BIGSHOT NAGIN, (the ex-cable company executive) could sit in Baton Rouge with a Senator and Governor and plot out a scheme to GET GEORGE BUSH

Time off from the Serious....Now for the Silly
Do you like humor?
I imagine you wouldn't think a truckdriving blogger like webloafer would love to write humorous articles. But I do. (Sanity’s Bluff is mostly a political blog, but politics is only a small part of the total webloafer).
Laughing at life can soothe a lot of ruffled feathers, and bring enjoyment to both the laugher and laughee
(are those words?). One of my favorite writers of all times would have to be, Will Rogers, and I wish he had lived to write more.
I am no Will Rogers, and even with long hours of practice I will never be in that class of humorists, but I love to get people laughing at themselves, and don’t mind laughing about my own shortcomings and stupidity. One year ago, I was spending way too much time at one of those web forum's......where hundreds of people from all over the world were involved in a mostly serious discussion about world problems. Can you say arguing 'til blue in the face?

When it got close to Christmas 2004, a forum was started where people could take on a fake identity and post at a forum for the holidays. I think it was called the “Secret Santa Forum”

I started a forum topic and called it Santa’s banter……Straight from the North Pole Office
Without any of the other forum participants knowing it, I was old SantasBanter……

Google Santasbanter, and you’ll find your way to a hilarious forum. I got the ball rolling and it rolled and rolled and everyone had fun. It is a good lesson in how people with very different political views can all have fun together. The number one poster was a very liberal woman from the east coast, and, well….you’ll see if you follow the plot of the fantasy mixed with reality forum.

I got several throwaway email addresses and became several characters in this forum. I wrote all of santabanters posts, and the posts, of MrsClaus, those of Humble, (humble was my username at this forum, please don’t choke while laughing at that one), and splitrim.
Forums can be hard to follow at times, but even without knowing the other characters of the forum you will enjoy this forum. It was the most visited forum for two weeks, and everyone wanted to put their two cents worth in. I totally enjoyed putting hours and hours of thought into this forum.
Now Remember.....the characters you will get to know; were a bunch of people who fought online about politics and other serious things, yet in an environment of secrecy, everyone had fun.
There are several people who completely deleted their presence at this forum, and helped make it an enjoyable place to be....that was their problem, and probably always will be.
They showed up, said a little, and then later, deleted what they contributed to this forum....there are always shallow people who want to take back what they said. I only wish the graphics were there that made this even better........the original happening was better than this, but this is still.....
AngelBaby of the forum posted almost a hundred santa cartoons and other nice graphics that are no longer there, just use the imagination.
Oh, one more thing, I don’t frequent libertyunites anymore, I don’t go there. I miss a lot of people from there, but blogging keeps me too busy to continue being “humble@libertyunites”

I will leave this article up only for a few days, then I will pull it off of the web.

Here is page one……santasbanter

Meandering for You
Here is a gathering up, of comments, I have posted at other people's BLOGS recently...........If you comment at Sanity's Bluff...........and leave a real url of your blog....
I WILL VISIT YOUR BLOG....READ AND THINK.....and I may even take the time to comment at your blog.

MY FRIENDS, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER...

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WORD............TOGETHER......SOUNDS SO GOOD..........

START OF COMMENTS

What would it take for you to acknowledge the creator?????????????????
Have you noticed more NATURAL disasters happening lately….????

No it is not global warming like the drugged up numskulls of the left proclaim.

These disasters are natural……..and that means humans had nothing to do with it, and for that matter you leftist idiots, wolves or snails had nothing to do with it either.

We are, because we were created.

We are not the result of some accidental event.

You are a Fool if you say there is no GOD.

And the fools are the ones bringing the Universe to an end, because God cannot stand you…..I think God is puking……you liberal perverts have done it, and I hope you are happy.
Well I know you won't enjoy your final reward........HELL.

No, happy is the wrong word, because you are not happy, and you don’t want anyone else to be happy.

Happy is not in your life,

You are miserable,

And want everyone else to be miserable,

Because you have blasphemed God………

I have witnessed you ridiculing God,

and I wouldn't want to stand next to you in a storm.

O.K. a hypothetical situation to consider…..

If you (WERE GOD) and had created this world, and everything on it, in it, above it, below it…..

Would you call what is happening at America's Gulf Coast?, A disaster?

OK ELITIST LIBRARIAN

Would you dare call something God created, a disaster…..????????

I will never succumb to the temptation of, predicting when the Creator has had enough of His creation and calls all humans, dead, alive or in the womb….to judgment.

How ridiculous would I be, if I thought I knew as much as GOD?

You might want to email God at……….http://god.all

And ask him, How come He is so stupid, and doesn't know what He was doing. like you do?

I WANT TO BE READY….I WANT TO BE READY…..TO WALK IN JERESALEM JUST LIKE JOHN.

Now I know why I went to sleep and drove my diesel truck off of the road.
I stopped at a Starbucks, and got a grande of french roast. I guess those teenagers working at that StarBucks thought I was rude.
If I can tell you the truth,
I left my lower dental plate in my truck, and I don't talk too good without it. Sorry if I sounded rude, and sorry about running off of the road 20 minutes later. I asked for coffee and you gave me DECAF.
Oh I don't blame you at all, and I hope you don't have any friends that work in the Starbucks up the road aways. When I went to sleep my diesel truck slammed into, (and ran through) the Starbucks in the next town just south to you.

Fortunately there were no casualties, but lots of kids got decaffed…..and it’ll take awhile for them to realize reality.

I was mad because I spilled what little coffee was left in my cup, but now that I know it was decaf, no big deal.

I left that Starbucks looking like Hurricane Katrina danced over it for a few hours.

The local and State Preparation before Katrina made landfall is a study in parallel universes. Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, prepared well, informed the citizens and got it done.
Louisiana State and especially the New Orleans City Government, completely screwed this one up. I almost think it was deliberate.
1. 40,000 human beings were left behind to die. I can see no other scenario.......
2.The Red Cross was denigned permission to pass out food, water, and hygiene kits to those left behind. out..
3. 1,000 buses with full diesel or gasoline tanks were left parked, were never used, and were rendered worthless by the flood
4. The offer by Amtrak was turned down....
5. The pleas of The President of the USofA were ignored.
6.Many more

THEN THEY INVITED THE NEWS CREWS IN TO FILM THE DISPAIR....To take the pictures that would tug at the heartstrings of the world.

IF SOMEONE TREATED A MEMBER OF MY EXTENDED FAMILY LIKE THE DEMOCRATS OF LOUISIANNA TREATED THE POOR, INFIRMED, MENTALLY RETARDED, AND ELDERLY OF NEW ORLEANS...........THERE WOULD BE HELL TO PAY.

You don't treat humans like that, and the scum of LA will pay dearly....mark my words......the word is out, 40,000 people were left behind to die, but the marvelous military of our country saved them.

I HAVE THIS TO SAY TO MAYOR NAGIN, GOV. BLANKO, AND MARY LIMBAUGH, YOU ARE MORE THAN STUPID, PERHAPS EVEN STUCK ON STUPID…..AND TO ANYONE WHO DONATES SWEAT, BLOOD OR MONEY THROUGH The LOUISIANA CROOKS I JUST MENTIONED, HOPING THAT THE MONEY GETS TO THOSE THAT NEED IT……YOU TOO ARE STUCK ON STUPID.
75 YEARS OF RECORDED GRAFT, THIEVERY AND ABUSE, ARE ALL WE KNOW ABOUT LOUISIANA POLITICEANS. Can you say HEUY LONG?, IF YOU SEND MONEY OR HELP THE SCUM WHO DID ALL OF THIS, TO A CHARITY THAT ANY OF THESE CROOKS ARE INVOLVED IN, YOU ARE THROWING YOUR CHARITY INTO A GARBAGE CAN.

Our hearts are sorrowed, our wallets are nigh empty, but we will help each other, and take notes…….

There are some people who see a disaster as a welcome mat to start stealing from the charity of a wonderful nation.

If only one person is made to see and question what the state schools, Hollywood, NY TIMES, and other liberal institutions say life is and isn't ....and what COMMON SENSE TELLS US.

If only one person is made to see that life is precious, because our creator made it so.

We have to snatch 'em away from the liberal deathmongers one at a time.

Piggy Twister,
The local and State Preparation before Katrina made landfall is a study in parallel universes. Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, prepared well, informed the citizens and helped to get the ball of recovery rolling.
.
Louisiana State and especially the New Orleans City Government, completely screwed this one up. I almost think it was deliberate. 40,000 human beings were left behind to die. I can see no other scenario.......the Red Cross was shut out....2,000 buses with full gas tanks were left parked, the offer by Amtrak was turned down....the pleas of concerned president of the USofA was ignored.

AND THEN AT THE RIGHT TIME, THEY INVITED THE NEWS CREWS IN TO FILM THE DISPAIR....MISERY…..CONFUSION…..CRIME AND REALITY OF THE MOMENT.

NOW YOU ARE MORE THAN STUPID IF YOU SEND MONEY OR HELP T THE SCUM WHO DID ALL OF THIS. FIND SOMEWAY TO HELP THE VICTIMS, NOT THE PERPATRATERS.

To Everyone Fleeing Hurricane Rita

The best Gov. of CA? Not, Reagan was

I have received a lot of public and private criticism for posting pictures of Ted Kennedy waddling, blubbering, lumbering, slobbering and grunting as he jogged. So to balance the books, here is a picture of a Republican Giant, in his jogging pose.

Allah's Judge/God's Nemesis

The federal judge, who ruled that the voluntary recital of the pledge of allegiance is unconstitutional, has a long track record of bringing judgment against God.

Isn’t it funny that the peanut growing president who claimed to be a “Born Again Christian” appointed a bunch of atheist judges to the federal court benches, who now are working hard to rid this nation of any mention, or thought about God? Jimmy Carter appointed the judge who made this ruling.

Thanks Jimmy, which side are you really on, good or evil?

Hey Jimmy, go pound more nails while the judges you appointed tear down everything good about America. In his four years as president, Jimmy Carter appointed mostly liberal, God hating, anti-American judges to the federal bench.
Can you say, “Something is rotten in Denmark?”

Lawrence K. Karlton, a U.S. District Judge in Sacramento California, ruled that the pledge's reference to one nation "under God" violates school children's right to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God."

But you may get a little confused if you read this newspaper article from 2004, about another of Judge Karltons rulings on religious matters or perceived religious matters. (The pledge is not religious in any way, shape or form) in public places.

Prisons are public institutions just as public schools are public places. The taxpayers pay for them completely. Read this article and tell me if you see anything fishy?

Students win pay in prison suit
UC Davis law school clinic members helped Muslim inmates seeking worship rights.
Nearly three dozen law students who helped win religious rights for Muslim inmates garnered accolades Friday from a Sacramento federal judge, who awarded fees of $289,000 to the students and an attorney who supervised them.

Susan Christian took on the inmates' case seven years ago while she was supervising attorney at the King Hall Civil Rights Clinic at the University of California, Davis, School of Law.

The case went with her when she left that post for private practice in 2001, but a series of 34 students at the clinic had by then racked up nearly 2,000 hours of work on behalf of the Muslim state prisoners.

In a seven-page order, U.S. District Judge Lawrence K. Karlton directed that the students be paid $60 an hour - a total of $114,780 - for work done from October 1997 through June 2001.

Attorneys for the state, which will have to pay the award to Christian and the clinic, questioned that hourly rate for students, but Karlton pointed out that they "worked on a wide variety of tasks, including discovery, taking and defending depositions, legal research and writing, and arguing motions in court."

"Because of the nature of the action and the issues involved, the work done by the ... students was more complex and legally sophisticated than work typically performed by law clerks or paralegals in law firms," the judge wrote.

Carter White, the clinic's current supervising attorney, said Friday, "We are especially proud of this ruling.

"This is the largest amount that's ever been awarded in one case for work done by our students.

"When the clinic was founded in 1993, the hope was that it would be partially funded by prevailing-party fees. This is the ultimate realization of that goal."

Plaintiffs in the case are Muslim inmates at California State Prison, Solano, who sued for violations of the right to practice their religion.

Karlton granted them 15 preliminary injunctions, all but one of which were unsuccessfully appealed by state prison officials.

The judge also rejected the state's constitutional challenge to a federal statute governing prisoners' worship, and that ruling was upheld on appeal.

The case culminated in June with Karlton's permanent injunction barring prison officials from imposing discipline or denying sentence reductions based on Muslims' half-inch beards and attendance at religious services.

The final judgment also includes a procedure to locate and expunge religion-related disciplinary records of current and past Muslim inmates' custody files.
The state has appealed the outcome of the case to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

ACLU wins big....AGAIN

A judge has repaid the ACLU for past favors, by ruling that the pledge of allegiance is unconstitutional.

The ACLU has its way in the courts; they can always find a judge to side with them, no matter how un-American or perverted the issue or cause is.

It isn’t logical, but it is real. Judges bend the constitution to placate the perverts at the ACLU. They can always find a way to help the ACLU destroy another good thing about America.

When will someone file a lawsuit to have the ACLU change its name? The ACLU is not American, it is anti-American. It is anti -Liberty also.

The ACLU keeps chipping away at Freedom. If the ACLU has its way, your church will soon lose its tax exempt status, and many churches will not be able to afford the taxes imposed upon them. Farfetched? Not at all, I imagine most people could list ten good things that are gone from our Society, due to law suits by The ACLU in front of friendly judges. Judges that would sell their country off, to stay in favor with the ACLU. What kind of hold they have over wimpy, God hating judges? I don’t know. Maybe they have some pictures of the judges in compromising situations; I don’t know......it just makes no sense to see the ACLU having its way in the justice system. It is not natural to hate your own country like the ACLU does, so I suspect it is controlled by someone not of America. The tentacles of the ACLU reach even to the highest court, of America. Ruth Badder Ginsberg was the head of the ACLU before being appointed and confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Nothing has even slowed down the juggernaut of ACLU. Society seems impotent when it comes to protecting free speech for all. Free speech ACLU style will be a little different than the founding fathers imagined. There soon will be a list of forbidden words, God, Jesus, Calvary, Moses, Baptize, and many more will be on this list compiled by the ACLU. It will be a criminal act to speak any of these words in public, or to use any in textbooks or speeches. If any public building has any of these words engraved on its exterior or interior, it will have to be sandblasted off.

But if the ACLU is successful; it will be perfectly legal to use the words, Mohammad, Allah, Islam, Muslim or jihad, anywhere, anytime, even on or in public buildings and institutions.

Just think, if in the future you dare to hand someone a note with the word God written on it, you might wind up in prison sharing a cell with a child molester. No I’m sorry that just won’t happen, because Ruth Ginsburg and the ACLU will make it legal to be a child molester. Ruth herself is said to be in favor of lowering the age of consent to 12. If you knew some of the perverted views of Justice Ruth, you would be sickened.

All Republican Senators but a handful voted to seat the pervert Ruth Ginsberg to the Supreme Court. Oh they knew she was anti-God and had sexual deviated views, but they wouldn’t stand up for America. Typical wimpy Republican Senators. It amazes me that so many wimps could end up as Senators on the Republican Side.

I apoligize for using ACLU so many times in this article, but it is about time we start using ACLU as a curseword. Know your enemy.

Compassion, American Style

Today I wish to present a few thoughts of mine on the subject of compassion.

The word compassion has been bandied about in the political realm for sometime. President George Walker Bush, ran for president the first time announcing that he is a compassionate conservative. More recently Republicans have been accused of having no compassion for the poor in New Orleans. More about that later.

One of my biggest complaints about our President is his use of the word compassionate with conservative. It is almost as if he is acknowledging as fact, the liberal mantra….. “Republicans are heartless, they want to starve children and the elderly…..they want your grandma eating dog food, and going without medicine.” You remember the sickening lies of the left? Well the President used that beautiful word compassion, as if he would be the first conservative to be compassionate. Excuse me Mr. Bush, On this one, you are not right. The conservative religious right has been a constant source of compassion, and help for the less fortunate. Want more proof, travel to the gulf coast today. Or to the many homes all over America that are taking in strangers who have lost all to a natural disaster. (As a side trip, you might want to run by Barbra Streisand or Chers mansions to see how many families they have taken in? Or that Canadian Crooner who lives large in Las Vegas, how many families has she taken in?) She broke down and cried about the poor misunderstood looters, how many looters has she invited to live with her in her mansion?

Can a government be compassionate?

The only answer I can feel comfortable with is NO, NOT AT ALL.

But what about the billions of dollars that the government gives to the needy in America each year? What about the seven trillion ($7,000,000,000,000) dollars that the taxpayers of the USofA have spent fighting the war on poverty in the last 40 years, is not that the ultimate act of compassion?

NO, NOT AT ALL

Since the war on poverty has been lost, it wasn’t compassion; it was a waste of taxpayers money.

If I was floundering in a lake, and close to drowning, if you threw me an anvil, would it be compassion?

People in poverty, need a job. So simple, but it works, and is compassionate. If the person impoverished is able bodied and will not work…..that is another matter. With the exception of the paralyzed and mentally unstable, everyone could be given some task, some job to do. This also would be a way to build self-esteem in the needy person’s life.

But you say, there are not enough jobs for everyone. Dah, open your eyes liberal. The unemployment rate is the lowest it has been for a long time. Millions of jobs are being created each year. The Bush Economic Plan is working magnificently, and the facts don’t lie.

American workers are the most productive in the world, and our industry even employs millions of illegal aliens, at ten times the wage they could make in Mexico. And everyone who wants a job, can find one.

There is nothing wrong with our economy. Tax cuts have spurred a growth so strong, two cataclysmic happenings have not damaged the economy like the gloom and doom crowd said would happen.

Liberals will never talk much about the totally inclusive prosperity of America (our nations poor would be considered prosperous in almost every other nation of the world) because they have had very little to do with creating it. If the liberal template would have been applied to America after 9/11, we would be bankrupt with millions more in poverty (American style poverty).

George Walker Bush, has lead this nation through some of its most difficult times, like a graceful bull rider staying in the saddle for the full 8 seconds. Maybe that wasn’t the right metaphor, but I have to get a Texas dig in.

Thank God for Texas. It was definitely worth fighting for.

Back to compassion. If you still insist that the government is being compassion when it doles the taxpayers money out by the billions, to the needy, here is something you cannot explain away.

The governments, Federal, State and City take almost one half of my hard earned wages to do government charity. I must say that I don’t consider national defense or roadbuilding for commerce to be charity; they are both necessary and good. Those two tasks are ones that the constitution outlines to be within the realm of Federal Responsibility. Compassion is not a constitutionally mandated task

What kind of compassion am I being shown when government takes from me almost half of my earnings?

So even if you insist that welfare and handouts are compassion, it sure isn’t compassionate to take someone’s hard earned money to pay for that government charity.

There are millions of acts of compassion going on at this very moment in America, but they for the most part are being done by citizens, not for fame, or office. They are doing it because they care about those that have lost all.

Of course you will see nothing about all of this outpouring of compassion in the MSM, but the blogosphere will have plenty to say and show about this beautiful side of America.

Superb Work, Thank You!
Superb Work
Disaster Response Teams
A Big Thank You From America

As long as I read, hear or see, the MSM indulging in misinformation about the response of the Federal Government to Hurricane Katrina, I will keep hammering back with the truth.

If you were vacationing in a resort town on the ocean somewhere and a hurricane was predicted to make landfall in 48 hours, who would you rather have overseeing the evacuation and preparation for the disaster? The choices are below in bold font.

New Orleans Mayor, C. Ray Nagin in concert with Louisiana Governor of Kathleen Babineaux Blanco?
Biloxi Mayor, A. J. Holloway in concert with Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour?

The preparation and response to hurricane Katrina was not the same by these two states.

Mississippi we now find out, was where most of the physical damage, and human damage was done by ‘Katrina 2005’. New Orleans was the center of attention by the MSM for over a week. In the mean time Mississippi was putting it all back together. While fingers were still being pointed by those in New Orleans, (Bush didn’t, racists, slow, stupid, and more) which suffered less, from the hurricane, Mississippians were sweating to put there ravaged cities back together.
Yes, New Orleans suffered greatly in the aftermath of the Hurricane. About a day after the hurricane roared through the coastal region of New Orleans, devastation on a large scale happened when the levees protecting the Party City built below sea level gave way. Can you say, “Hadn’t the city and state been aware of what would happen if a category 4 or 5 hurricane visited New Orleans? The damage that occurred after Katrina can be attributed to 60 years of Democratic Rule, and the neglect of the one biggest threats to the state.
The federal government spent more money on flood control in Louisiana, than it did in any other state. Go check out the annual budgets of the Army Corps of Engineers. Not too much before this tragedy, the Louisiana State Dept. of Homeland Defense had been accused of diverting federal money into the pockets of Local Democratic Politicians.

If you want to get a complete picture of Hurricane Katrina, before and after…do a little research.

Google the following 4 names; but read more than the first few results, which are always managed by GoogleInc. Read through 3 or 4 pages of hits, you’ll come to the same conclusion as I did.

New Orleans Mayor, C. Ray Nagin
Louisiana Governor of Kathleen Babineaux Blanco
Biloxi Mayor, A. J. Holloway
Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour

Jack Kelly: No shame
The federal response to Katrina was not as portrayed
Sunday, September 11, 2005

It is settled wisdom among journalists that the federal response to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina was unconscionably slow.
"Mr. Bush's performance last week will rank as one of the worst ever during a dire national emergency," wrote New York Times columnist Bob Herbert in a somewhat more strident expression of the conventional wisdom.
But the conventional wisdom is the opposite of the truth.
Jason van Steenwyk is a Florida Army National Guardsman who has been mobilized six times for hurricane relief. He notes that:
"The federal government pretty much met its standard time lines, but the volume of support provided during the 72-96 hour was unprecedented. The federal response here was faster than Hugo, faster than Andrew, faster than Iniki, faster than Francine and Jeanne."
For instance, it took five days for National Guard troops to arrive in strength on the scene in Homestead, Fla. after Hurricane Andrew hit in 2002. But after Katrina, there was a significant National Guard presence in the afflicted region in three.
Journalists who are long on opinions and short on knowledge have no idea what is involved in moving hundreds of tons of relief supplies into an area the size of England in which power lines are down, telecommunications are out, no gasoline is available, bridges are damaged, roads and airports are covered with debris, and apparently have little interest in finding out.
So they libel as a "national disgrace" the most monumental and successful disaster relief operation in world history.
I write this column a week and a day after the main levee protecting New Orleans breached. In the course of that week:

*More than 32,000 people have been rescued, many plucked from rooftops by Coast Guard helicopters.
*The Army Corps of Engineers has all but repaired the breaches and begun pumping water out of New Orleans.
*Shelter, food and medical care have been provided to more than 180,000 refugees.

Journalists complain that it took a whole week to do this. A former Air Force logistics officer had some words of advice for us in the Fourth Estate on his blog, Moltenthought:
"We do not yet have teleporter or replicator technology like you saw on 'Star Trek' in college between hookah hits and waiting to pick up your worthless communications degree while the grown-ups actually engaged in the recovery effort were studying engineering.
"The United States military can wipe out the Taliban and the Iraqi Republican Guard far more swiftly than they can bring 3 million Swanson dinners to an underwater city through an area the size of Great Britain which has no power, no working ports or airports, and a devastated and impassable road network.
"You cannot speed recovery and relief efforts up by prepositioning assets (in the affected areas) since the assets are endangered by the very storm which destroyed the region.
"No amount of yelling, crying and mustering of moral indignation will change any of the facts above."
"You cannot just snap your fingers and make the military appear somewhere," van Steenwyk said.
Guardsmen need to receive mobilization orders; report to their armories; draw equipment; receive orders and convoy to the disaster area. Guardsmen driving down from Pennsylvania or Navy ships sailing from Norfolk can't be on the scene immediately.
Relief efforts must be planned. Other than prepositioning supplies near the area likely to be afflicted (which was done quite efficiently), this cannot be done until the hurricane has struck and a damage assessment can be made. There must be a route reconnaissance to determine if roads are open, and bridges along the way can bear the weight of heavily laden trucks.
And federal troops and Guardsmen from other states cannot be sent to a disaster area until their presence has been requested by the governors of the afflicted states.
Exhibit A on the bill of indictment of federal sluggishness is that it took four days before most people were evacuated from the Louisiana Superdome.
The levee broke Tuesday morning. Buses had to be rounded up and driven from Houston to New Orleans across debris-strewn roads. The first ones arrived Wednesday evening. That seems pretty fast to me.
A better question -- which few journalists ask -- is why weren't the roughly 2,000 municipal and school buses in New Orleans utilized to take people out of the city before Katrina struck?

Jack Kelly is national security writer for the Post-Gazette and The Blade of Toledo, Ohio (jkelly@post-gazette.com, 412-263-1476).

Great Article, and I now take my truck driving hat off to all those that responded to this disaster. I am sick of the so called journalists covering this disaster. Negative, negative, and more negative reports.

When will some smart businessman or businesswoman realize that America needs, and is ready to embrace real Journalism? If I was a millionaire, I’d be giving America what it really needs, the truth in Journalism. And I'd get even richer, because America wants to have fair and honest journalism to read. If a national newspaper (along the USAToday style, but without the liberal baggage) could capture a readership equal to the amount of cancelled newspaper subscriptions of the last 6 years, it would be an overnight success. And I would subscribe to it.

More Hurricane Katrina Photos

Thank you men and women in Uniform

Just one more photo collage that records the heroism, selflessness, and caring of the American People….and you will see the awesome power of our military that so many love to hate……..Can you even fathom the scale and scope of the rescue that our Military, (Federally funded, state used, and media ignored) accomplished???
If a hurricane of this magnitude had struck say the coast of India……hundreds of thousands of people would have perished.

One of the most heart warming events of the last week, was when it was revealed that nation of Sri Lanka had pledged almost a million dollars to help with the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort.

Seriously, that would be equivalent to France donating 250 billion dollars to the effort. France did, didn’t they? What you don’t say, they didn’t? But it was, the French that landed at the mouth of the Mississippi River many hundreds of years ago, and said…..
“ah ha….here is a great place to build a city. Just put up a few levies, and it’ll be safe.”
Any law suits being filed by the shameless disaster pimps (lawyers), should be forwarded to France….they were the creator of New Orleans.

Thank you ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
And the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of those forces

BEFORE THE STORM

New Orleans, LA. August 28, 2005 -- Residents are bringing their belongings and lining up to get into the Superdome which has been opened as a hurricane shelter in advance of hurricane Katrina. Most residents have evacuated the city and those left behind do not have transportation or have special needs. Marty Bahamonde/FEMA

These pictures were taken August 28th,2005. It is diffucult to get a timeline of events, it seems there are several versions of everything. So I am going to remove some facts from this article that I cannot source. One thing is certain when these picture were taken, almost everyone had left New Orleans. Red Cross was sending distaser vehicles to Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The President was pleading with the Governor to declare an emergency mandatory evacuation. Look closely at these pictures, many of these people were brutalized, some were raped, and some were killed. The poor, disabled and feeble here were all subjected to misery because of a mayor failing to follow emergency plans. There was still time for the governor to step in, but she didn't. After the local and state government all but abandoned these people, the federal troops showed up. The Red Cross and Salvation Army had already sought permission to distribute food, water and hygiene kits to the people headed for the SuperDome, but they were refused by local and state agencies. Food, water and hygiene kits that were in tractor trailers parked close to the SuperDome.
Sitting in several lots throughout the city there were almost 600 school buses that could have been used to evacuate these people. We all remember the pictures of row after row of buses in flooded lots later on. It sickens me when I think about the hell these people went through, it could have been prevented very easily if the mayor and governor had done their jobs. To be left behind in such callous fashion leads me to say.....The Governor of LA, doesn't care about black, handicapped or poor people. Some have even said she let the situation happen for political gain. For that matter, the mayor of New Orleans doesn't seem to care much for poor whites, poor blacks, or handicapped citizens.

A fellow blogger says it better than me

I tried to contact the blogauthor of this article to ask his/her permission to post this article here at Sanity's Bluff, but was not successful. I thought it important to bring this to my readers, so I have included links to the web-blog that I found this list of links at. AGAIN this is not my work, it took someone a lot of time to bring all of this into focus. Please visit this writer's blogsite and compliment the blogger on his excellent work.

Here is the url……….and I can’t bring it into focus any better than this.

Utopian Meltdown
Utopian Meltdown

Someone trying to speak for the American people should get their facts straight. Most people do not think George Bush is a moron, or a ****up as Jay, the commenter here at Sanity’s Bluff says.

Jay, I have to know, just what is your definition of most? 43%? That is the percentage of the Democratic Kool-Aid drinkers in America. Your “most Americans” isn’t reality based, it is a pipe dream. It is a minority of America that whines and moans about George Bush. You don’t get to him or his supporters, George just keeps on walking tall, standing tall, and making me and the majority of America proud.. He is a good man, and Americans know it. They see that good man hated by the minority, and it strengthens the resolve of the supporters of George Bush, and makes them determined to never let hateful people like Dean and Kennedy get control of America. The liberals are constantly making asinine. childish and unfounded statements about what the American people think, but they haven’t a clue about the backbone of America. Yes, now that the liberals have completely taken over the Democratic Party, we will continue to see the decline of the Democratic Party.

Pssst…heres a little secret I don’t think you’ve come to grips with yet. The Democrats are watching their voting base shrink because of their constant hatred of good Americans, and good American deeds. Oh but that is not all, there are a few other millstones around the political neck of the Democratic Party.

In your shrinking ranks you have the majority of homosexuals, (who are not going to procreate, and raise little Democrats) You also have most of the abortion rights people, who are on a mission that will only shrink the number of Democratic voters. And in your ranks you have academia and other elitists who don’t want to be bothered by parenting.
All of this will continue to shrink the percentage of Democrats in America. Thank God!

It makes my heart happy to see the many large Christian families, home schooling their large family and swelling the ranks of the Republican Party. As a side note, those home schooled children will be the leaders of tomorrow, for they avoided the American Educational System. They are smart, patriotic, charming and caring; something that is not present in the Kool-Aid drinking robots graduating from the public schools that are controlled by liberals.

Again I remind you that the liberals have the television news departments solidly in their corner, as well as the magazine and newspaper editorial and journalism departments. Hey, Democrats look at how much your unholy alliance with the media has done for you. You first lost the House of Representatives, and may never regain control of it. Then you lost the Presidency, followed soon thereafter with the loss of the Senate.

The same trend is happening in almost all State Governments.

Some help the media has been for you. But I’m glad they are around to chronicle the demise of the Democratic Party.

Maybe they don’t realize it, but the media is recording for posterity all of your unabashed hatred for the Military, Christians, Boy Scouts, and George Bush. You will never be able to hide your true agenda from history. As you are today, your agenda seems to be to making as many people miserable as you can. Your recent behavior is viewed by most Americans as over the line of decency. See I used the word most….I dare you to poll Americans on your parties recent behavior. The most devastating natural disaster in American History, was turned into a political football within HOURS by the malcontents of the Democratic party. The Republicans made a bee-line to the Gulf States with food, water, clothing, comfort and love. Where were the ACLU mobile kitchens. Where was the Move On mobile hospital staffed with doctors that rushed to Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana? Where were the Democratic truck drivers volunteering to haul the aid for nothing? I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

I’ll bet you, if I was to walk into a room full of 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans that I had never met or talked too, I could pick out 5 Democrats, and 5 Republicans from the crowd even though they were all strangers to me.

Liberals wear their misery on their faces, and they seem to want everyone else to be miserable. It isn’t so with real neocons.

I am working on an article about utopia. I am not quite finished with it, but I want to give everyone a teaser.

The article is about New Orleans, and Louisiana. All of the things that the liberals have been promising the working class for sixty years, should have made New Orleans ‘utopia on earth.’

There were no Republicans to spoil the Democratic Dream. No evil neocons. Ever since the days of Huey Long, New Orleans has been a stronghold of the Democrats. Has it served the citizens of New Orleans well? All of the elections that the working class got out and voted Democratic, has helped New Orleans how?

Democrat controlled government, Utopia, the pipedream that Democrats have promised will solve all of the problems that plague the working class. “Elect us and you’ll be better off” they promise at election time.. The good people of Louisiana and New Orleans jumped on the Democratic bandwagon and what kind of ride did they get? When they were promised better schools what did they get? The schools teach a liberal slanted curriculum. How much good has it been for the citizens of New Orleans? And think of it, there were no George Bush’s around 60 years ago to muck things up. By all reasoning New Orleans should have been utopia, after 60 years of liberal government.. For 60 years the state of Louisiana and New Orleans in particular, have been without Republicans to steal from the poor and give to the rich. There have been no Republicans to give tax breaks to the rich of Louisiana. There isn’t any Newt Gingrich in Louisiana to make your grandma subside on dog food.

If you never hear anything I say again, please listen carefully to my next observation.

If you want to know how America will be if the liberals like Hillary Clinton are running things, look at New Orleans. Look at the misery, suffering and failure of the liberal ran government, and the people who are under the thumb of the Elite Liberals. Point me to an American City that is controlled politically by the Democratic Party, and I’ll guarantee you there is a large percentage of miserable people. You cannot refute the misery of the liberal ran cities, it is in plain view to the world. Just open your eyes.

One thing I am sure of, when the 400,000 or more displaced humans from New Orleans get back on their feet, thanks to the love of the Much hated Christians, Republicans and Rednecks, a great percentage of those people will leave the Democratic party, as fast as you would leave the smelly city of New Orleans today. .

Musings about Journalism Today
This is a generalization of the main street media as I see it.
BUT I CALL IT LIKE I SEE IT.

The so called MSM has lost all of its objectivity, and it is mired down in the constant attempt to present news that will sway people’s opinion. The MSM is no longer able to hide its prejudice and political favoritism. Can you say internet or blog?

How many times, do you have to hear, references like these to understand that the media has an unholy alliance with the liberals of America?

The White House is under fire for….Has sparked criticism from…...Is at odds with the popular opinion…..Was heavily criticized….a controversial stand?

These five phrases came from one very short Reuter’s article today. Of course the villain of the news article was President George Walker Bush.

Who was Reuters sourcing when it said someone was critical?

Sometimes I think Reuters has a large number of mentally unstable people locked up in a room at their headquarters. And when President Bush makes a speech, they open the door of the room where they keep the mentally unstable and shout out a question……
"What do you think of this statement by Bush?"
(the MSM does not use common courtesy when talking about President Bush…..to them it is Bush) and they report the answers they get from the room of idiots. They could swear that it was true, and it very well could be the real answer given by the majority of the mental cases they have locked up.

Good news, I know more and more people see through this agenda of the leftwing liberals. I have witnessed some very smart people leaving the liberal camp lately.

Liberalism is a safe alternative to Reality when it is peaceful and prosperous in our nation, but it is not an alternative today in the USofA. I am seeing more and more people critical of the liberal media. This is encouraging, because the stakes are so high, Can you say survival?

This country could very well cease being America, if the ACLU and other libs get control again.

I don’t want liberals in charge of our countries defense, or its foreign policy. Because of the Bush Doctrine, many thousands of terrorists have been killed, and thousands more are in jail. I say keep up the good work and the taxpayers will buy as many bullets as are needed. I don’t want liberals in charge of the purse strings of this nation. I don’t want liberals to be in charge of recovery efforts after a natural disaster. Witness New Orleans city government and Louisiana state government, and their meltdown right before Hurricane Katrina pummeled the Gulf Coast, and their paralysis in the aftermath. Anywhere along the Gulf Coast that had a Government by the people, not a government by the liberal elites; the preparation, and cleanup went smoothly with no bickering or race baiting, black and whites worked together in a beautiful way.

For some reason the liberals in America do not want whites and blacks getting along, but they are losing this battle too, GOOD. All people can get along, work together and enjoy each other, if the liberals are absence from the scene. I hate to use this hypothetical, but I will. If I came upon Ted Kennedy talking to a homeless black man, of the two men, who would I be wanting to converse with? I know I wouldn't want to hear more of Teddys socialist speal, but I would be wanting to know more about the homeless man. Not out of pity, it would be because I could have a better conversation, and maybe could learn a little about why the man was homeless. I would try to help him....the best I could....not direct him to the Welfare Office, Soup Kitchen or Homeless Shelter. First I would try to help him.

I would not like to hear Ted's take on a homeless person. "All Bushes Fault", "Bush doesn't like Black People" HE LIED, or the old standby.........Bush is an idiot. How much good comes about by bashing the president? Would the homeless man be better off after hearing Teds rant?

I don’t want liberals to continue monopolizing the MSM, so it encouraging to me to witness the way all of the citizens of Mississippi and Alabama worked together recently. I know this has riled the MSM, so I imagine we’ll be getting a lot more articles about the inferiority of the Southern states, NASCAR, hunting, and Bible Studies, and prayer meetings.

Get along, work together and enjoy each other; all three of these scenarios are happening in part, because the liberals tried to cram too much bull down the throats and into the minds of the average citizen.

In the same news article today, I found President Bush referred to as simply Bush, four times, but Clinton was referred to as Former President Bill Clinton twice.
I don’t know where these journalists obtained their degrees, but forty years ago, reporters with such an obvious bias, would have failed in any class of journalism. Now the Pulitzers, and Nobles are waiting for the journalist who will take up the banner of Bush bashing, Christian bashing, Boy Scout bashing and Southern States bashing
.
The books the nation is really reading, and not just purchasing to put on the coffee table to impress others, those books hardly ever get a review in the NYTimes. Maybe I shouldn’t even bring that up, because the NYTimes is losing readership.

None of this depresses me anymore, because I see the slippery slope the liberal media is on. Advertisers are going to start counting beans, and start pulling ads from the sleaze sheets of the left. The network T.V. channels will start losing revenue too, except for the sporting events. The five people who get their news from NPR, are getting very old, and their hearing is getting bad, so they are toast.

The press is digging a nice big hole for their self, and they will soon go the way of the Edsel, gone and just about forgotten. I just noticed that my Microsoft spell check doesn’t recognize the word Edsel. Wouldn’t it be nice if in twenty years the word liberal was as forgotten.

Occasionally we notice an objective fair article, in the MSM, but it is the exception now, not the rule.

You will never find the press saying something like; “Today Hillary Clinton was heavily criticized for……

You can safely bet money that many people criticize her and her politics, but is it ever reported?

More on this later. I am sure I will find more liberal bias today, but I smile, knowing this will not last.

Comic Justice

You would think that the entertainment elite would know when to keep silent, but Canadian born Celine Dion, who is living large in Las Vegas, suggested America should let the looters in New Orleans have a holiday of sorts from the law. She in essence says…… “Let them loot”
Here's a suggestion Celine; invite some of them over to your house and let them loot. You can take pictures of them for your scrapbook, if they don’t steal that too.
But the best of the week came Sunday when Sean Penn launched a rescue mission of mercy in New Orleans. I guess Hollywood is getting afraid that a lot of people are sending the money they usually spend on entertainment, sending that money to charities like the American Red Cross. They are also probably upset that they are irrelevant when there is a story of people helping people.
And well they should be worried, and quiet. If you missed this debacle with the super egomaniac Sean Penn, get ready to laugh yourself silly. Also if anyone finds a link to video on this comedy of errors, please post the link in the comment section here. I really want to see that video.

Sean Penn's rescue bid sinks
From correspondents in New Orleans05sep05

EFFORTS by Hollywood actor Sean Penn to aid New Orleans victims stranded by Hurricane Katrina foundered badly overnight, when the boat he was piloting to launch a rescue attempt sprang a leak.Penn had planned to rescue children waylaid by Katrina's flood waters, but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch.
The actor, known for his political activism, was seen wearing what appeared to be a white flak jacket and frantically bailing water out of the sinking vessel with a red plastic cup.
When the boat's motor failed to start, those aboard were forced to use paddles to propel themselves down the flooded New Orleans street.
Asked what he had hoped to achieve in the waterlogged city, the actor replied: "Whatever I can do to help."
With the boat loaded with members of Penn's entourage, including a personal photographer, one bystander taunted the actor: "How are you going to get any people in that thing?"

A BIG THANK YOU GOING OUT TO
I don’t expect much public thanks to be given to the heroes who are working to rescue, feed and protect the victims of Hurricane Katrina, but they well deserve it. Yes, the ones wading through the cesspool of New Orleans, and other distressed regions of this wonderful nation, rescuing distressed citizens. Yes, you the ones preparing, repairing and operating the helicopters, trucks and boats that are needed in this national emergency. Yes, you the ones laboring and sweating so hard, even though you may have lost all of your own home and belongings in this same storm.

To those of you having to put up with the stench of death, the uncertainty of civilian panic, all of the burning buildings, angry citizens, thugs and anarchists trying to make your job even tougher than it would be if the animals with guns were not there; to all of you, I for one will never forget your sacrifice, and I imagine there are millions of grateful people thinking exactly like me on this matter. And that is what it is, a sacrifice. I don’t consider my monetary contribution to the victims of Hurricane Katrina to be a sacrifice, it is nothing compared to what you are doing for your homeland.

To all of our finest men and women, I give my thanks. I know you are working 18 or more hours a day in the biggest rescue operation ever undertaken in America. From the depths of my secure being (that too is because of you) I Thank you.

I know the pundit’s sitting in air conditioned newsrooms across the USofA, are talking about you in derogatory fashion. But let me assure you, the decent people of this nation will not forget your sacrifice in this time of national distress.
To those of your just returning from your duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, who were then deployed in this mission in the Gulf States; May God protect you in your extended work, until you have the opportunity to take some time off. I know radical college students, leftists, Howard Dean and all of the socialists and communists are hell-bent on making you uncomfortable in your own homeland, but take the time to look at those that hate you…..they are dirty, vile, socialistic scumbags who couldn’t survive if they had to labor as hard as you do. They are the dredge of democracy, the flakes of freedom and the ones that make you look so beautiful.

I take my truck drivers hat off to you, and will always remember your sacrifices at home and abroad for the citizens of the USofA.

THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE, A MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. YOU SEE, THIS WAR HAS THOUSANDS OF MISSIONS, AND YOU ARE MAKING US VERY PROUD. YOU ARE OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS AND WE LOVE YOU SO.

You are seeing the best and worst of America. I know many have cursed you while you did your duty, some even shot at you, but millions are praying for you also. The citizens of this nation you serve are waiting for the chance to celebrate YOU, AND YOUR JOB WELL DONE.

More Truth the MSM will not publish
e-vac'u-ate" (i-vak'-u-at) v.t.
1, make empty, free from something contained.
2, vacate; withdraw from.
3, excrete. -
v.i. go elsewhere, esp. to avoid danger.

We all have heard about the Left Behind of New Orleans……they were told that they needed to leave, but the mayor of New Orleans, did not use the hundreds of buses that were at his disposal, to help evacuate those that had no transportation. There was a plan of evacuation published in 2000 by an agency of the New Orleans City Government, that said all school buses, city vehicles and any public transportation buses, and taxi’s were to be used to evacuate those that had no way to evacuate on their own in the event of a needed evacuation. Here, read it for yourself.

Louisiana disaster plan, pg 13, para 5 , dated 01/00'The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating'...

When the evacuation was finally ordered, the ones with cars had already left, and the poor and feeble were left behind. I guess he was only mayor of the rich of New Orleans. Most of the pain and suffering in New Orleans would have not happened if the mayor had used the 600 buses and the fleet of city vehicles, and the taxis to ferry people out of the danger area.

As long as there are still people lying about what really happened in New Orleans, I will not shut up.

I know people are tired of all the bickering, but to any of the 50,000 or more people that were left behind in the Evacuation of New Orleans, just before Katrina hit, that are still blaming President Bush for your plight, please look at the picture of these New Orleans School District Buses and read the article I post now. The buses that were available to be used, some of which you see in the picture, could have given you a ride out of New Orleans BEFORE THE HURRICANE MADE LANDFALL, IF THE MAYOR HAD DONE HIS JOB. The available 600 school buses could have easily taken 30,000 citizens of New Orleans to a safe place, and then returned a few more times to get all of the citizens without cars a ride to safety….I said it should have happened before the hurricane made landfall. Oh don't give me the old, "there weren't drivers for the buses".....We all have seen the articles about the young boy who stole a school bus in New Orleans and drove it full of passengers to Houston.

This next article was written by the ones who were belately sent by the Governor of Louisiana to help after the hurricane had ripped everyones life apart in the 'Big Easy'. Most of them were deployed by the Governor without weapons, boots or a plan………

The first line of response to the disaster was the city government. The next line of response was the State of Lousiana. The last line of response was the Federal Government. The only success in the chain of respose came from the last avenue of response, the Federal Government. The President could not direct the city of New Orleans' police force, (which disappeared for the most part) or the LA National Guard, but when both of these first lines of response failed to help the left behind, President George W. Bush, sent in Federal On-Duty Armed Forces. This action was a rare one, because normally the city or state can handle any emergency, or they should at least try. There have been very few times when active duty military has been needed in an American city.

In my lifetime the one instance I remember the most, was when President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent On-Duty Military to make sure that the Democrat Governor of Alabama allowed Black Young Men and Women, to enroll and attend college in the State of Alabama.

The LA National Guard should have been deployed 5 minutes after the hurricane made landfall, but it wasn't........I wonder where the Governor was? Having tea with the Mayor of New Orleans, in a safe and dry place?

La. Guard forms human corridor to assist dome evacuations

NEW ORLEANS — Louisiana National Guardsmen yesterday established a security perimeter around the back entrance to a shopping mall attached to the Superdome here as other guardsmen began herding thousands of evacuees from the arena and onto hundreds of buses bound for the Houston Astrodome.

Soldiers and airmen with the Guard’s 225th and 769th and Engineer Battalions were standing security in waist-high floodwater from Hurricane Katrina.
Although the troops are in place primarily to keep growing crowds of civilians who have not gone to the Superdome from overtaking the buses, they also are on the lookout for gunmen who are wreaking havoc in downtown New Orleans.

Staff Sgt. R******* S** of the 769th sees some similarities between his current mission and a recent deployment with his unit to Afghanistan.

“They’re animals over there,” he said, referring to Afghanistan, “and they are animals here. They’re just bolder animals here.”

Spc ****** ******** who is in the 769th’s C Company, said that, unlike Afghans, he wonders if New Orleans residents want to help themselves. He said that some looting may be excusable as people need to feed their families. But ****** said in an air of disbelief that during an earlier security mission he entered a grocery store that had been looted. The alcohol and tobacco aisles were empty, but the canned foods were nearly untouched.

Pfc. *** ****** also of Charlie Company, sees the biggest difference between his tour in Afghanistan and the operation in New Orleans is the level of personal security. He said they were being shot at by looters earlier in the week but didn’t have rifles to fire back. Several members of his unit said the battalion did not receive weapons until Thursday morning. the only non-lethal capability ***** has is a homemade baton that he fashioned out of a broomstick.
The floodwater is littered with debris, stinks and is too murky to see the ground in many areas. But soldiers do not have rubber boots or waders.

Spc. ***** *** an engineer with the 527th Engineer Battalion, said he asked for waders because he doesn’t think being in the water could be healthy. He was told there weren’t any available. Most of the soldiers working here are soaked from the waste down; some spend hours wading through the standing water.

Sgt. 1st Class **** ******* is on duty at the Superdome with the Guards’ public information office. He lived at Jackson Barracks, La., where the Guard’s Joint Forces Headquarters was based until the post was flooded. ******* said his home has been destroyed and he is a refugee just like those in the dome. He hasn’t deployed to a combat zone since Operation Desert Storm, and he half-jokingly said he now prefers the desert over New Orleans.
Inside the Superdome compound, new estimates by Guard commanders before the evacuation began this morning had the population inside at about 20,000 refugees and just over a 1,000 guardsmen.

A massive crowd formed yesterday afternoon, wrapping almost all the way around the Superdome. Soldiers, airmen, sailors and at least one Marine created a human corridor to keep the flow of evacuees moving through the attached mall and downstairs to the buses.
The Marine, Lance Cpl. **** ********, is normally assigned to the Marine Forces Reserve in New Orleans. He said he is from the city and just wanted to help, so he put on his uniform and went to the Superdome to help.
